PSP Midnight Club 3- Dub Edition - Software Publisher's Description:
PSP Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition review:5 stars (great game) - This is a very good game to start out with, when you first start out you have about 20 grand to buy a car. Whatever is leftover u can save that or use it to pimp out your ride. This brings me my next point the custmozation for this game is ridiculious you can get sick rims{don't worry the rims are ok when u star but onnce you unlock more rims they get sicker] u can paint the rims, make them bigger, you tint your windows to a color, you can change you bumber, your rear bumper, the hood of the car, you can also go to the performance shops an upgrade your car. Now lets talk about the racing you unlock special moves for your car as you play every time you place 1st in a race you win the cash and sometimes another prize like new rims or sometimes a new already pimped out ride. The prizes are cool but the actual racing is cooler you go very fast through the citiy and try to find a the best possiable way to the finish line. Since there is so many things to talk abot this reveiw would go on forever and get boring so i will give it a overall. Sound and music- 95- you have record player that plays hot songs like 50 cent and T.I Graphics- 100- very good, clear veiwing, easy to see Gameplay-92.5-very fun and entertaining but some races are better then others Story line-90- some guy trying to prove himself Overall-94.4- very good game4 stars (GREAT GAME!! but very easy) - the graphics on this game are no different than on ps2. The customizing is has so many detials, there are over 2,000 different ways to make one car look and there are about 70 awsome cars! Two things i dont like about this game is the increadabily slow loading time and i hade the game for about a week and im already 80% done and i dont play it every day {not because its not a fun game because it is} if you finish video games very fast then i would rent it first and then buy if ur not winning alot of races P.S. I LOVE THIS GAME AND THE GAMEPLAY MAKES UP FOR THE LOADING TIME 5 stars (Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.....PSP Style....) - I own both versions of MC3 for Sony's systems. Almost identical to the PS2 version in everyway; MC3: DUB Edition(for the Playstation Portable) delivers insanely fast racing, with the hottest, licensed, real-life SUVs, import tuners, muscle cars, choppers, and luxury rides around. You can customize them with the latest rims, trims, and upgrades just like in the pages of DUB Magazine. Out of all the racing games I've seen and played on the Playstation Portable(my favorite being Need for Speed Underground Rivals)up to this point; I've never seen a game as ambitious as this. I'm really impressed with what Rockstar North was able to accomplish on the PSP with MC3. The graphics are simply amazing.
My biggest gripe, as it was with the PS2 version, is the long loading times. Thing is, they're even worse on the PSP. I clocked nearly a minute and a half waiting for a race to load. Once getting past that; the game, literally, rocked hard(just like I said in my PS2 review). If you can get past that yourself, you'll see your money is well-spent on this game. It delivers on racing thrills and chills.
